Our preschool goes beyond traditional academics to provide a truly holistic learning experience for your child. Throughout the year, we weave in essential lessons on self-sufficiency, civics, and race inclusion, ensuring a well-rounded foundation for their future.
Here's how we bring these important concepts to life:
Community engagement
*Civic Mondays: Every Monday, we dedicate time to discussing what it means to be a good citizen. This includes starting our week by reciting the Pledge of Allegiance and singing the National Anthem, which helps children understand symbols of our country and fosters a sense of community. We also engage in simpler acts like helping a friend, understanding community rules, or learning about local services. These early lessons help children grasp their role in the world around them.
*Family Week: This is a wonderful opportunity for family members to come into the classroom and participate in activities with the children. It's a fantastic way to celebrate the diversity of our families and for children to see their loved ones actively engaged in their learning environment. This promotes a sense of belonging for them.
*Superhero Week: During this exciting week, we invite real-life heroes from our community – firefighters, police officers, doctors, and other professionals – to visit and talk with the children. They share insights into their jobs, emphasizing how they help people and contribute to society. This not only sparks curiosity about different careers but also teaches children about the importance of various community roles and the diverse individuals who fill them.

Petting Zoo Visits: Bringing the joy of animals right to our doorstep, petting zoo visits are always a highlight. Children learn about different creatures, practice gentle interactions, and develop a sense of empathy for living things.
